Family Caregiver Support Group & Resource Center

 

During these unsettling times, it is paramount that we embrace and maintain “Community,” within and beyond familiar walls. In light of this, Knox is launching a Family Caregiver Support Group.

 

Consider this question: Are you or have you been a family caregiver, meaning someone caring for a spouse, parent, grandparent, sibling, neighbor, etc.? If so, you are invited.

 

In a confidential setting, group meetings offer family caregivers an opportunity to get & give support, learn from one another’s experiences, discuss solutions to common issues and acquire needed resources.

 

Meeting dates and times are:

11:30am to 1:00pm on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month on the Knox Zoom site (until further notice).

The Knox Resource Center Family Caregiving Network is directly connected to the University of Southern California School of Gerontology - Family Caregiver Support Center and will service the family caregiving members of Knox Presbyterian Church as well as our neighbors from the greater Ladera Heights Community.

Children's Sunday School

Every Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m. (Pre-K through 5th Grade) during Service.

 

Youth Group

We are KYG! Knox Youth Group! The youth group of Knox Presbyterian Church consists of anointed young men and women of God who meet regularly on Sunday's to learn how to deepen their faith in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Our faith journey is nurtured through interactive dialogues, Bible study and fellowship activities. As we continue to grow in our walk, we are looking forward to having active participation in mission ministries of the Church as well as various community outreach programs. Our vision is to help spread God's love and word to others by becoming active Disciples of Christ. Our intent is to adhere to the commission that Jesus placed before us to become Disciples of Christ and to create Disciples of Christ. Our desire is to help others be elevated in their spiritual walk as we become elevated in ours. Our passion is to seek God first in all that we do.

Music Ministry

We sing praises! Musical opportunities await those who are willing and ready to serve God in song. Our music ministry distinguishes itself through the quality of its presentation of many genres and styles of music. Music inspires comforts and edifies the diversity of people as they worship God.

The Laderians

Organized in 1958 to foster Christian fellowship, the Laderians have monthly programs of interest to the church and community. Everyone is welcome to attend meetings conducted every second Thursday of the month at 12:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall.
