PATH: People Assisting the Homeless

Members of our congregation and Mission Ministry serve dinner the first Monday of each month at the PATHWAY Westside Center, which is one of PATH’s transitional housing facilities that help individuals and families find permanent housing.

 

Food Pantry, LAX

Knox is participating in its 17th year of supporting the Food Pantry LAX by providing 100 bags of food during the holiday BAG IT UP! campaign and additional boxes of individual food items during the year.

 

Water Ministry

Every Summer as the temperatures soar, we get active in providing and delivering water to the homeless. In 2016 we donated 70 cases of water to people in need in the Los Angeles Skid Row district.

 

Habitat for Humanity

Along with the Presbyterian Coalition, Lynwood Redevelopment Agency and Change a Life Foundation, as of 2016 we have completed three homes in Lynwood.

Presbytery of the Pacific's Nicaragua Partnership

We donate to the campaign to send ten youth from churches throughout the Presbytery, to Nicaraguan villages for one week of fellowship and mutual mission.
